From the Kitchen to the Pages of VoyageAustin

I’m still in disbelief as I type this — The Batch’s Bake was featured in VoyageAustin!

When I first got the email about the interview, I had to read it twice. As someone who started this cookie business from home, with a hand mixer and a lot of heart, being recognized by a local publication like VoyageAustin felt surreal. It’s one thing to share your story with friends and family… it’s another to have it shared with the whole city.

The article gave me a chance to reflect on how far this little dream has come — from late-night recipe testing and packaging cookies in my kitchen to fulfilling custom orders and exploring local partnerships. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been so worth it.

Most of all, I’m just deeply grateful. Grateful for the people who believed in me, for the customers who keep coming back for “just one more cookie,” and for every moment that’s pushed me out of my comfort zone and into growth.

This feature is more than just press. It's a reminder that small beginnings can lead to sweet things. 🍪
